"As I look back at my time as TMP president, I cannot deny the fact that my heart has grown fond of this country, which I already considered my second home. Aside from this, I find Filipinos to be among the most hospitable, resilient, and family-centric people I can think of. Such traits are truly admirable," said Satoru Suzuki, TMP Outgoing President.

Suzuki continued, "It has been four solid years, and the business environment changed significantly in that short span of time. The Philippines is at an opportune time as a fast-growing economy, not just in Asia but globally. I am assured that TMP is capable and ready to seize new opportunities with its new President at the helm."
TMP's incoming president, Atsuhiro Okamoto, is now tasked to lead TMP in achieving more challenging feats, especially in steering TMP into becoming a Mobility Company, which will provide solutions for better quality of life for everyone.

"I started my first few weeks in the Philippines with unforgettable memories, “The Eruption of Taal Volcano”. This eruption has affected many Filipinos and even our plant operations," said Okamoto. "On the other hand, I have seen how strong Filipinos are, the great Filipino spirit of “Bayanihan” and resilience have been very evident and shown by everyone. I also saw how the Filipinos’ value of “Malasakit” is clearly manifested, as we express our concern to the company and to our fellowmen."
Okamoto adds, "So as TMP’s new president, I would like to reiterate in all TMP Team Members, Dealers and Suppliers, the importance of dedicating our work to contribute to society. We would like to continuously provide ever better cars, ever better mobility services and solutions to enhance the quality of life of Filipinos."
