The waiting is over! The highly anticipated luxury compact SUV, the All-New GLB premieres in the Philippines. The "New Normal" brought about a virtual launch held on Facebook Live last August 15, 2020, where the newest member of the SUV family of Mercedes-Benz was unveiled.

It marks the 8th model in the German luxury automaker’s success story of MFA (Modular Front Architecture), combining all the best factors from the former models, and becoming the first 7-seater in the Mercedes-Benz compact car family.

It is the first compact vehicle of Mercedes-Benz that offers a third row, with two additional seats perfect for growing families. The extensive safety equipment includes retractable headrests, seat belts with belt tensioners, and a side window airbag, which also protects the passengers in the third seat row. Additionally, the GLB supplies ISOFIX and TOP-Tether anchorages for suitable child seats, and these can be used to attach up to four child seats in the rear.

A distinctive profile
The advanced, efficient 1.3L inline 4-cylinder engine pumps up power to 163 hp. With all 250 lb-ft of torque on tap from just 1,520 rpm, you get quick response off the line, and for passing, merging, and climbing. It has a long wheelbase of 2,829 mm making it have a striking SUV design.

It comes equipped with LED dynamic headlights. It can be dressed in sportier apparel through the AMG Line Package, with 19” 5 twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, side skirts painted in body color, polished aluminum roof rails, and AMG Body Styling. It's a ruggedly handsome crossover that treads the line between form and function well.
