Introducing JAC MOTORS PHILIPPINES’ newest pick-up truck, the JAC T8.

Triesenburg Auto Corp. (TAC), the official distributor of JAC Passenger and Light Commercial Vehicles in the country, after having launched its Sub-Compact crossover JAC S4 in July that did not compromise specifications for price, is now bringing in its second pick-up truck after the JAC T6---the JAC T8. 

The JAC T8 perfectly fits the needs of the Filipinos amidst the pandemic. Pick-ups are generally known as work horses. Popular to be used for hauling, commercial and business purposes most of the time, always lacks on driver and passenger comfort, style and luxury.

When the consumers start thinking of acquiring a vehicle, they find themselves torn between either choosing the budgeted version and the top-of-the-line variant. Having the consumers’ needs and want in mind, TAC marries functionalities and luxury offering the JAC T8 at a price point that will really make you FORGET NORMAL! 

The JAC T8 is designed to have the specs that high-end trucks have but with the affordable price of a base model variant. TAC wants its consumers to have and experience business and pleasure, as well as safety all bundled into one. Something not found in the market with a price so affordable.

The JAC T8 is a FORTRESS ON THE ROAD with its combined aggressive, elegant and modern touches on both the exterior and interior.

The front exterior sports a massive grille partnered with projector xenon HID headlights, LED DRL and Front Fog lamps. While the rear has those futuristic Dual C LED Tail lamps and rear fog lamps for added visibility and safety. Consumer also need not spend extra to make the truck look good as the usual upgrades consumers do as such: bed liners, fender flares, side step-boards, and tow hitch receiver is already a given.

The interior comes with luxurious brown leather seats, same leather accents on the door panels and dashboard, an 8” touchscreen multi-media, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control and so much more.

JAC Motors Global has over 55 years of history building heavy duty commercial trucks and has been very successful in doing so as they have been recognized as one of the best in the world. We are bringing in the same technology to the JAC T8 so it’s expected to be by anyone’s’ side for the long haul.

It sports a 2.0 turbocharged Diesel Engine partnered with a 6-speed manual transmission which puts out 136 HP and 320 nm of torque. Over-all dimension (5325 x 1880 x 1830 mm) and ground clearance (220 mm) is at par or even better than the competition. 

Front Suspension is an Independent Double Wishbone with Spiral Springs and rear has leaf spring suspension. For the brakes, the Ultimate variant will have disc brakes both for the front and rear which again is something the competition don’t have at this price point. The Luxury variant has drum brakes at the rear. The T8 is rolling on 18s Alloy Rims wrapped in 265/60 Tires versus the competitions usual steelies.

To separate itself from the rest, it has all these high technology safety features that no other truck can provide: (1) Hill Start Assist Control; (2) Hydraulic Brake Assist; (3) Traction Control System; (4) Vehicle Dynamics Control; (5) Electronic Stability Control; (6) Tire Pressure Monitoring System; (7) Dual Front Airbags; and a (8) 360 Degree View Camera. It also gives away these convenience features: (1) Headlamp Auto Lighting; (2) Headlamp Levelling; (3) Auto Folding Side Mirrors; (4) Remote Controlled Opening and of all windows; and (5) Front and Rear Parking Sensors.

THE LAUNCH

JAC T8’s official launch is on December 13, 2020 at 6 PM through the Official Facebook Page of JAC Motors Philippines. https://www.facebook.com/jacphilippines. Dan Navarro, Group General Manager will do the reveal of the vehicle and give everyone an overview and enough reasons to consider the T8. Followed by testimonials from our media friends who joined us in Hefei China where they got to test the vehicle at our high speed test tracks. 

Given that TAC also made sure to test the vehicle locally before deciding to bring it in, the online launch will also feature testimonials from local and international race car drivers after experiencing the truck at the Rally of Champions by MP Turbo Philippines.

Brian Badilla, Marketing Director, will dig deeper and give a walk-around for everyone to see what the T8 can offer. Then, TAC will reveal the pricing including the financing options and all-in low down payment schemes that will surely entice and catch every buyer’s attention. 

The JAC T8 will be available in 2 4x2 variants both having a 6-speed manual transmission. The variants are the Luxury 4x2 (Base Model), while the top of the line variant is the Ultimate 4x2.
