Changan CS75 Plus Yields Outstanding Fuel Economy Run Results || Monchster Chronicles

Confident and fuel-efficient: The CS75 Plus yields outstanding fuel economy run results

Proving that it's rightful to rule the Philippine roads with confidence, the CS75 Plus joins the Alsvin and the CS35 Plus under Changan's lineup of fuel-efficient vehicles, based on the results of a fuel economy run conducted by Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) and the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP).

In the said fuel economy test held on July 20 and July 22, 2021, the CS75 Plus flaunted a fuel consumption of 17.3 km/L for the highway run, covering a distance of 180.65 kilometers and running at a speed of 60 to 85 kph.

The 1.5L 6AT variant of the CS75 Plus used in the highway driving test run traversed Shell Balagtas NLEX Northbound to SCTEX Tarlac Terminus, going to Shell of Asia Bulacan, passing through NLEX, to Clark Spur Road, SCTEX, and back.

For city driving, on the other hand, the same model of CS75 Plus provided an equally impressive result at 8.933 km/L for a distance of 90.7 kilometers. This particular test followed a route starting from Makati, Pasay City, Manila, and Quezon City, and vice versa, with varying speeds in compliance with traffic rules and according to road conditions.

The CMPI and the AAP carried out the highway and city driving test runs for the CS75 Plus with realistic driving parameters. The vehicle used was fueled to the brim, all OEM equipment present; tire pressures set at OEM specifications; air conditioning set to medium cool thermostat setting; radio either not used, on low volume, or on mute; with two passengers and no extra baggage.

Carrying the tagline "Change your view of confidence," the CS75 Plus is Changan's offering that exudes excellent personal mobility from the inside to the outside. This powerhouse car combines function and aesthetics with a 7-inch Digital Instrument Cluster plus a 12-inch Touchscreen Audio Display, sporty D-Shape Steering Wheel, Panoramic Sunroof, and chic, scarlet Leather Seats.

Anchored on Changan's identity of bringing Lasting Safety, the CS75 Plus ensures a safe ride with its 6-Airbags System, 360-degree Panoramic Camera, Hill Descent, and Hill Hold Controls, Reverse Parking Sensors, Electronic Parking Brake, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System, to name a few.

The CS75 Plus is also powered by a 1.5L Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection (T-GDi) that takes the job of providing increased power while lessening fuel consumption and a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission that brings the driver control of the engine's speed and power output.
