Noted global crossover specialist Jetour has formalized its entry into the Philippine market. Officials of the Wuhu, China-headquartered company recently signed a distribution agreement with executives of Jetour Auto Philippines – paving the way for the establishment of a dealership network here.
Said Jetour Auto International General Manager Jicai Chen, “With our joint efforts, I believe the Jetour brand will grow very quickly and achieve great success in the Philippines.”

Established in 2018, Jetour is headquartered in the Wuhu Hi-tech Industrial Development Park on the bank of the Yangtze River. The Chery Holdings-owned brand, whose two Chinese characters originated from classic Chinese literature and mean “successful career” and “the world returns to the same place which different paths,” also takes it anglicized name Jetour from “jet” and “tour” – denoting “convenience” and “journey.”
Jetour has already sold more than 550,000 vehicles and has cemented its reputation for being a cutting-edge SUV brand – boasting 10 vehicle models for its X70 and X90 lines.
Today, Jetour exports its vehicles to more than 30 countries – boasting over 300 sales and after-sales facilities. Jetour Auto Philippines is set to publicly reveal its vehicles at the coming Manila International Auto Show scheduled on April 13 to 16 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
