Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI), marketer of the Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants, held its groundbreaking ceremony of its newest and first-ever service station located along the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), last August 19, 2025. This new facility underscores its commitment to expanding access to top-tier fueling services and modern amenities for motorists down south.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Chevron Philippines executives, and partners from MPCALA Holdings Inc., concessionaire of CALAX, marking a significant milestone in Chevron’s ongoing expansion strategy. The new station is designed to offer a convenient, efficient, and safe fueling experience, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, clean amenities, and a wide range of products and is the first fuel service station at CALAX.

“We are proud to bring the very first Caltex station along the CALAX corridor, further supporting the needs of motorists traversing this strategic expressway,” said Mr. Pongtorn Tangmanuswong, General Manager, Chevron Philippines Inc. “Our commitment is to provide quality, cleaner, and ever reliable fueling options that meet the evolving demands of our customers.”

“As concessionaire and operator of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway, it is an honor to witness this important milestone—the groundbreaking of our very first toll service facility in partnership with Caltex. This project represents more than just new infrastructure; it is a symbol of strong collaboration between our organizations, with one shared goal: to provide motorists with a safe, clean, and reliable place to rest and refuel along CALAX.” said Arlette V. Capistrano, Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management of CALAX.

The new CALAX Caltex service station is expected to open by March 2026, promising to become a vital stop for travelers, logistics operators, and residents alike.
